How to Set Up IPTV on an Amazon Firestick (Step by Step)

June 20, 2026 6 min read

The Amazon Firestick is cheap, tiny and plugs into any TV's HDMI port — which makes it the number-one device for IPTV. Here's how to get streaming in about five minutes.

1. Allow app installs

Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and turn on 'Apps from Unknown Sources'. This lets you install a player that isn't in the default store.

2. Install a player

Use the Downloader app (free from the Amazon store) to grab a player like TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro. These are the two most reliable, polished options.

3. Enter your login

  • Open the player and choose 'Add playlist' or 'Xtream Codes login'
  • Enter the portal URL, username and password from your dashboard
  • Let it load the channel list and EPG — done
